Wholesale Acquisition Cost (WAC) generally represents the manufacturer's published catalog or list price paid by a wholesaler. WAC does not represent actual transaction prices, including those paid by patients, and does not include prompt pay or other discounts, rebates or reductions in price.
Treatment cost per patient is based on the specific FXa inhibitor, dose of the FXa inhibitor, and the time since the patient’s last dose of FXa inhibitor. Actual cost to the patient is dependent on insurance coverage.
